Among Vin Santo, nougat e. ..

Dall'ultima volta quei famosi cachi, raccolti ormai più di un mese fa, hanno maturato e sono passati a miglior vita trasformandosi in dolci confetture, le ultime invasate proprio pochi minuti fa.
Ieri riposo anche per noi e nell'occasione we were able to take advantage of the Feast of the Holy Montefollonico Vin, an event very well organized, with the tasting counter at various points of the ancient village of the country, where you could taste more than 70 different productions of Vin Santo from the district, all of the bill strictly handmade, and some sweet and savory to go with the whole (the simple but effective great bread and butchers of the raw sausage).

Among the latest goodies fresh pasta the most notable were the hats (cappelletti a bit 'oversize), is excellent with a nice broth (vegetable or beef) ...

... that in the version with meat sauce, with strict grated parmesan cheese.

Unforgettable then lasagna, of course not too classic, not tired, but rather a bell'abbinamento radicchio and mushrooms!

If you envy just think that the ideas just waiting to finish in the pot, because already nelle nostre testoline frullano dei cannelloni con zucca, noci e formaggio caprino di Fossa.
Quasi dimenticavo, ma per non farci mancare nulla settimana scorsa abbiam fatto qualche brioche da colazione, croissant e pan au chocolat con la pasta sfoglia (ovviamente hand made) e maritozzi. Per un bel pezzo una bella colazione da bar è in serbo nel nostro freezer...
