The days are getting more excited. The other day we celebrated the birthday of our young guest Elizabeth with a chocolate cake with cream cheese that has had the full approval of all present. On this occasion we found that birthdays in France is used to organize a treasure hunt, and have done so for the many children present in the farmhouse, with una sfida tra italiani e francesi.
Nel frattempo da lunedì abbiamo un nuovo rinforzo: Massimo, mio fratello, ora prezioso aiuto nei lavori quotidiani.
Per lui corso intensivo da trattorista e full immersion tra ulivi da innaffiare e campi da "discare". Il fratellino sta dimostrando una bella pellaccia e una buona e quasi inaspettata predisposizione per questa vita.
Ieri abbiamo continuato le nostre sperimentazioni in panificazione provando un bel pane alle patate, e il risultato non è male (le foto non ci sono perché l'ho affettato subito, anzi l'abbiamo persino assaggiato caldo poco dopo sfornato).
Oggi abbiamo replicato la produzione di semifreddi alla nectarine (di Romagna of course) who have already enjoyed much success. Finally, for our personal greed experiment with ricotta cheese cake with peach and saffron.
